Sophie's Profile

Sophie grew up in Devon and with a Canadian mother, has spent a lot of her life in the maritime region of Nova Scotia on the east coast of Canada.  With Coconut Creatives being based in Somerset, Sophie enjoys being back to a country location after a couple of years in London.

Sophie’s employment history has been somewhat varied which has given her a wide base for business styles and needs – from working as a session musician, to working in a Cadbury’s factory to working at Walt Disney World Florida!

Sophie met Chris whilst working on the Thames and quickly took an interest in marketing.  She immediately enrolled to do a CIM course (which she is thoroughly enjoying) and that coupled with working with the Coconuts is giving her real insight into the world of marketing.

The Spare Time Stuff

Having achieved Grade 8’s with distinction on three musical instruments, Sophie certainly has determination and creative flair. She also enjoys weekly ballet classes and is even thinking about taking up trampolining!

The Brainy Bits

After completing a Music Degree at the University of Bristol, Sophie went and lived in Florida and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Hospitality Management at the University of Florida.  Sophie hopes to continue her CIM study until she reaches a Chartered status, just like the boss Coconuts.
