Coconuts at the NEC!

Friday 30th September and Saturday 1st October 2011 saw the Coconut Team in full swing at the National Franchise Exhibition held at the Birmingham NEC.
The event was an absolute must for anyone looking to expand their Franchise and make excellent contacts within the Franchise Industry, not to mention take advantage of the many informative seminars and conferences taking place over the course of the event.
The Coconut specialists each had full schedules from the word go, meeting Clients, offering support on Exhibition Stands and of course being in extremely high demand with potential Clients all looking to harness the potential of the Coconut Team’s experience and skill.
It was a very eventful weekend for our two new Coconut’s Lucy Maisey, (PA to Directors) and Natalie Ashton (Graphic Design Administrator) who both embraced the Coconut ethos of hard work, creativity and of course, fun! Both got off to a flying start meeting Clients, helping out on Stands and generally being useful in any way they could!
Now if there’s one thing a Coconut knows how to do, it’s have a good time! When the day’s work was over on Friday and thanks in no small way to the brilliant organisational skills of our very own Head of Events Jennifer, we headed to the chic underground bar, ‘The Vaults’ in Birmingham for a VIP Coconut drinks reception. VIP guests included Granite Transformations, MOT2U, KarePlus and Rosemary Bookkeeping who left in good spirits after good company, dancing and cocktails. At our invitation we were joined by some lovely Clients and also some new faces keen to learn more about the Coconut Team.
Of course, it was business as usual on Saturday and the Coconuts were back at the NEC bright eyed and bushy tailed for another busy day!
As testament to the benefits of Coconut involvement, three of our Client’s stands, MAC Tools, Cafe2U and Rosemary bookkeeping, were so notably busy for the whole event that people were even asking for their stand numbers on the door! We were visited during the exhibition by the event organisers themselves who just had to ask ‘what is it about these stands?!’ A seal of approval if ever we heard it and well deserved congratulations go out to all involved in the stands.
The event was a huge success for all concerned and we are thrilled to have been a part of what will undoubtedly be a very exciting and productive time for our Clients, existing and new!
